(Sierra Vista) Point Guard Viko Namaaea finished with 33 points, scoring 20 points in the first half. The Crafty Lefty was hard to stop as he showed his ability to find open players, score on the dribble as well as off the dribble. Even with the green light to shoot, Namaaea is a pass first shoot second player and makes his teammates around him better. Sophomore guard Wesley Rouse stepped up in overtime with a huge defensive rebound and some clutch free throws to put the game away. Rouse a PG. plays the game with intensity and enthusiasim. Rouse set the table all night for Sierra Vista. Bonanza was led by Matt Figgins 18 points and freshman Ashton Howard who scored 11 points.
Both teams are in the rebuilding stage and have quality coaches that have set foundations for there programs. Look for Sierra Vista & Bonanza to be play off contenders next year. We wish them luck next year.
