RUMBLE IN LAS VEGAS 17U CHAMPIONS- MARCUS BANKS HARD 2 GUARD

Marcus Banks Hard to guard 17u team, lived up to its name by easily dispatching an undermanned Poly Nation team 99-84 in the championship game of the “rumble in Vegas” tournament. H2G was led by soon to be senior forward Cameron Mich’l(Desert Oasis High), who tallied 31 points and senior Tyree Anderson’s (Las Vegas High) 26 points. The game was never in doubt from the opening tip as H2G forced the nation into several turnovers with its swarming press and their ability to get to the rim and finish. At one point H2G opened a twenty five point lead, until Poly Nation mounted a furious comeback behind the talented guard tandem of  DJ Anderson (Canyon Springs), who finished with 17 points and Mascai Greer (Sierra Vista) who finished with  27 points.

Coupled with the excellent guard play on both teams, in the end H2G’s bigs outplayed and were to much for Poly Nation as they controlled the glass and got the transition game going. Congratulations go out to the players and coaches of Marcus Banks Hard to Guard on a hard fought championship win.

**** COMING SOON 17U players to watch***********
