Rashad Muhammad: Sick Performer
"PoP" | Feb 09, 2010 | Comments 0
I have heard of several great performances on the JV level the last couple of weeks. In particular, I wanted to note Deshawn Nolan of Spring Valley who scored 25 points in back to back games against Gorman and Bonanza, and John King of Bonanza who scored 25 points against Desert Oasis on 6-7 shooting behind the three point line.
However, I had the pleasure of watching one of the best performances I have ever witnessed last night. Gorman’s JV has been tested only once all season long. That was against Bonanza. Well last night was the rematch and early in the game it looked like Bonanza was going to blow out the Gaels JV team. Down 14-2 in the early going, Gael Rashad Muhammad decided he didn’t want to lose and took over the game…literally. He scored 31 of Gorman’s first 37 points as he brought the Gaels back into the Game. Muhammad finished with 35 points and 11 rebounds as Gorman JV kept their perfect season in tact by defeating Bonanza 73-64.
NOTE: Do you know of a sick performance? Please email premierball.com and we will highlight it. We want everyone who has had an outstanding night to get their props.
