QUESTIONS & ANSWERS W/ 2013 Chris Thomas

December 14, 2011

Annette Burns was fortunate enough to get a telephone interview today with Elite Basketball Player Chris Thomas, while he was relaxing after finals at South Kent School, and this is what Chris Thomas had to say.

  • Premierball: How are things going at South Kent?

Chris Thomas: Everything is good. I like it.  I think I can be successful here.

  • Premierball: How does it feel to be back on the East Coast?

Chris Thomas: It feels good.  I’m still getting used to the weather again.

  • Premierball: So how does the South Kent School Basketball Team look so far this year?

Chris Thomas: I think our team looks good.  We have some good hard-working guys

who wants to win games.

  • Premierball: There has been talk of you and Ricky Ledo forming possibly the best back-court in high school this year.  How are things going with you and Ricky?

Chris Thomas: Ricky is a funny dude.  He likes to play practical jokes.  He is funny, man!  If you leave your plate at lunch to go get more food, when you come back you will probably find a Ricky Ledo fingerprint in your mashed potatoes.  You look at your plate and say ‘LEDO’!

  • Premierball: How are things going for you two on the basketball court?

Chris Thomas:  We play good together.  He is a very good 3-point shooter.

  • Premierball: It was reported that you were only down to three schools now, is that true?

Chris Thomas:  I should have said that my top three schools are Xavier, Kentucky and Florida right now.  I have been contacted lately by Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa State, and Seton Hall.  I have not made a decision on any school yet.

  • Premierball: So would it be fair to say that your recruiting has not stopped?

Chris Thomas:  It hasn’t stopped.

  • Premierball: Do you know when you will make a decision on a college?

Chris Thomas:  I do not have a date yet but I hope it will be at the end of this school year.

  • Premierball: What do you think of the recruiting process?

Chris Thomas:  Ah, I like it.  I mean, it makes me feel pretty good that there are so many schools that think I can help them win the NCAA Title and want to give me an education just for trying.  I like getting mail from them here at South Kent telling me what they are doing and how they are playing.

  • Premierball: Would you like to give a ‘shout out’ to anyone?

Chris Thomas: I want to give a ‘shout out’ to my family, all of my coaches, teachers and friends.
