PremierBall.com connected with 2012 F/ BF Brandon Ashley, Bishop O’Dowd-Oakland, CA who is considered the #1 power forward prospect in the 2012 class. We threw a few questions at the young man who played for the #1 AAU team in the nation last year the Oakland Soldiers and he responded below.

1. Brandon can you list the schools that came by to check you out in person within the last few weeks?

North Carolina, UCLA, Utah, Washington, Cal, Arizona, Washington State, and some more.

2. Do you have a top 5 or top 10 list of favorite schools?

I still do not have a top 10 or top 5 list.

3. What is your biggest concern in picking a school?

I want to be able to have an immediate impact.

4. Do you think you are the best player at your position and if not who is?

I do think I am, not trying to be cocky though.

5. Would you leave the bay and go to school out of state for your Sr. year?

It is a possibility but I highly doubt it.

6. Who is your favorite player in the NBA and who do you take your game from?

Favorite player is Kevin Durant and I take my game from Carmelo Anthony and him. along with Kevin Garnett.

7. Do you plan on staying in school all four years?

Only time will tell.

8. What are you goals for the season coming up?

Main goal is to win state.


9. Name 4 players you would play with right now in college if this was 2012?

I Really don’t know.
