PREMIERBALL PROSPECT REPORT “2O11 LAS VEGAS CLASS PART-1″ *Christian Kessee, Combo Guard (6-foot-1) 2011 class, NV/Valley HS.
Strengths: Back court-teammate of Khristian Kirkwood so he logs in most of his time at the 2 slot. Good athlete that has shown he can shoot the ball with consistency. Shows a toughness in his game by shutting down the other opponents scoring guards. Loves to run the floor and will finish in the lane. Has improved his shot over the summer and can shoot the three with good form and lift. Proven 20 point scorer during elite competition at the Each1 Teach1 tournament.
Weakness: Plays alot at the shooting guard and is on the short side. Needs more exposure at point.
Austin Nelson, Point Guard (6-foot-1)
2011 class, NV/Coronado HS.
Strengths: Best shooting point guard in the 2011 class. Won the BCS Three-point shoot off Challenge at the Orleans Casino. Good vision and good passer off the dribble with texture. Shoots off the dribble or the catch. Penetrates well and is athletic on the dribble going east and west. Plays with a set of gears and is hard to keep in front. Fronts the ball on the breaks and knows how to make a bounce pass. Still growing and looks like a solid prospect with continued improvement. Gym rat. See Nelson in a short mix.
