BISHOP GORMAN WINS 20th STRAIGHT 106-89 OVER WESTERN

The dynamic dual between Super Sophmore Shabazz Muhammad and Kentrell Washington came head to head again. Muhammad won this classic match up by pouring in 32 points with a soft touch and dominate inside outside game. We continue to see great guard play by his point guard John Lloyd who scored 21 points and led the team with several assist. (Western)Kentrell Washington finished with 31 points and (Western)Freshmen Sir Washington added 15 points and continues to show good upside in his game. Anson Winder who is back from injury looked healthy with 20 points and several dynamic ally-oop catches that lifted the crowd to its feet. Rosco Allen also picked up his play with 12 points with several pin point deep threes. About the Author: Christian T. Popoola graduted from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2006 with a bachelors degree in criminal justice. He was a member of the mens basketball team from 1999-2001, winning the Mountain West Conference championship in 2000 and also participating in the 2000 NCAA tournament. After graduating from UNLV he went on to become the Marketing Executive for UNLV booster organization called the Basketball club. There he continued to support the institution as well as the mens basketball program by networking and maintaining relationships with the fans and donors around the Las Vegas valley. He also helped to raise over $100,000 for the University of Las Vegas men’s basketball team. Christian's career goes on to include producing over millions in annual sales of residential real estate for his five year real estate career.
